Earlier this year, the roof of the softball batting cage at Brevard High School was destroyed by high winds. Coach David McNeil has obtained an estimate of $13,130.55 to rebuild the roof. The school system has received an insurance settlement of $13,536.52 from its insurance carrier. The superintendent recommends a new project line item for $13,538 for the softball batting cage roof replacement. The estimate from Wilson Services is attached.
A motion is in order to approve the superintendent’s request for a new project line item for the batting cage roof replacement.
