For over a decade, Brevard High School has participated in an international student exchange program with the Mariagerfjord Gymnasium High School in Hobro, Denmark. The exchange alternates annually with the Danish students coming to Brevard one year, followed by our students traveling to Denmark the next year. During their week stay with host families, the students attend school and enjoy the opportunity to experience local life and landmarks. In compliance with Policy Code: 3320 School Trips and Regulation Code: 3320-R School Trips, requests involving travel outside of the continental United States must be approved by the Board upon recommendation by the Superintendent or designee. Andrew Healy of Brevard High School will present an overview of the requested 2026 trip and will take questions from the Board. Mr. Healy’s presentation materials are available on our website, and the cited Policy and Regulation may be reviewed in our online Policy Manual.
A motion may be required to approve the proposed, 2026 Denmark student exchange trip upon the Superintendent’s recommendation.
