Director Chris Whitlock will request approval for a purchase of 755 Chromebooks for the 2021-2022 school year.  This is the normal four-year rotation of replacement student devices for our elementary schools.  The purchase will be made through a federal TIPS contract; therefore, an RFP is not required.  The vendor selected, Trafera (formerly Trinity3 Technology), is our current vendor that handles warranty and replacement services for all of our other Chromebooks.  The IT department will salvage all of the working Chromebooks they can from the elementary schools and repurpose them in other areas.  Board approval is required for purchases in excess of $90,000.  The quote from Trafera is attached.  Mr. Whitlock will answer any questions you may have. 
 
A motion is in order to approve the purchase of 755 Chromebooks from Trafera in the amount of $303,103.09 for the 2021-2022 school year.
