Dr. McDaris has shared with board members information regarding a possible supplement increase to help our district remain competitive with other counties, retain leadership positions, and recognize our most veteran teachers.  He proposes that the board consider changing the local central office administrator supplement from a flat rate to a percentage supplement and give a 0.5 percent supplement increase for teachers with 25 or more years of experience.  This change would come from existing funds that are currently in the approved budget.  The proposal is presented for discussion and possible action.
 
The board may choose to take action on the proposed change to the local supplement.
