At the April 18 meeting, the board accepted policy 9300, Naming Facilities, as first-read information. Board members were invited to send their questions, concerns, or comments about the policy to Dr. Gibbs or Dr. McDaris. A selection of naming policies from other school districts, a summary of past discussions on naming facilities, and an outline of the naming process for the Morris Education Center are attached for your information.
The board may take action to approve, revise or reject policy 9300, Naming Facilities.
