i. Good Trouble Transylvania - Stock the Classroom

Superintendent Dr. Lisa Fletcher shall recognize Good Trouble Transylvania for their hugely successful Stock the Classroom campaign.  Good Trouble Transylvania enlisted 150 sponsors, who donated in excess of $25,000.00 of supplies to fulfill 86 classroom wish lists.  Good Trouble Transylvania Coordinators Debbie Lanier, Andrea Townson, and Beth Bryant shall present the campaign results, a presentation about which is posted on our site, to the Board.

  1. Minutes of the September 15, 2025, meeting
  2. Personnel Report for October 20, 2025
  3. Transylvania County Schools Budget Message 2025-2026 and Budget Resolution
  4. Approval of Winter 2025-2026 Non-Faculty Coaches.The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) requires local Boards to grant  permission to employ non-faculty individuals as head coaches of varsity or junior varsity teams. As a rule, the Transylvania County Board of Education approves all volunteer and contract coaches for Transylvania County Schools.The full list of Winter 2025-2026 Non-Faculty Sports Coaches is posted.  
A motion is in order to approve the consent items.
