The board will entertain a motion to go into closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 115C-318.11 subsection (a)(1) to prevent disclosure of student information that is confidential under 20 U.S.C. 1232g and employee personnel information that is confidential under N.C.G.S. § 115C-319 et seq; and subsection (a)(3) to consult with an attorney retained by the board to preserve the attorney client privilege between the attorney and the public body and to discuss Doe v. TCBOE-22-CVS-118.
