The board will discuss making changes to its monthly meeting schedule effective October 2023. The proposed schedule is described below:
- The first Monday of the month would be a board work session. Work sessions would be designated for presentation and discussion items only. No public comment would be scheduled and no action would be taken.
- The third Monday of the month would remain a regular business meeting. Public comment will be available and the board will take action on business items as required.
- Meetings and work sessions would begin at 6:00 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m.
As always, meetings and work sessions are open to the public (unless designated as closed session meetings). In the event of a holiday or conflict, meetings may be canceled or rescheduled. Special called meetings or emergency meetings may be scheduled as needed.
The board may choose to take action on the proposed schedule changes at the next regular meeting on August 21.
