North Carolina statute requires board of education members to receive a minimum of 12 hours of professional development training every two years. Local board policy states that members who attend a training activity will provide a report of the event to other board members. On January 23-24, Courtney Domokur attended the NCSBA Public Policy Conference in Raleigh. She will share updates from that conference and other events.
