Twenty-three policies have been revised based on the State Board of Education’s recent restructuring of its policy identification codes.  The changes are technical in nature, affecting only the citations to SBE policies within the text and/or legal references of the policies.  There are no substantive changes to any of the policies in this special update.  Board policy 2440 gives the superintendent “the authority to make to any existing policies technical and conforming changes necessitated by changes in state and federal law.  Such changes are effective immediately subject to ratification by the board at its next regular meeting.” 
 
A motion is in order to ratify technical revisions made to the 23 policies listed below:
