Food Drive for Meals on Wheels

Seven county schools participated in the third annual Meals on Wheels “Feinstein Challenge” Food Drive this year.  The students of BES, BHS, PFES, RES, RMS, RHS, and TCH donated 3,734 food items for distribution to Sharing House and the Salvation Army.  As in the past, a $100 award from an anonymous donor was given to the school that donated the most food items per student.  This year’s winner was Rosman Elementary School with 1,010 items.

BHS Tennis Team

The Brevard High Men’s Tennis Team finished second in the state for the year.  They were also this year’s Regional Champions.  Mike Vandegrift is the head coach.  All of the players are underclassmen—the team is losing no seniors!
