Director Chris Whitlock will request approval to purchase 500 Chromebooks for Rosman High School and Rosman Middle School students per the district’s four-year equipment replacement plan. The $191,616.25 purchase will leverage the NC Statewide Contract. Board approval is required for purchases in excess of $90,000. The quote from Trafera is attached. Mr. Whitlock will answer any questions you may have.
A motion is in order to approve the purchase of 500 Chromebooks from Trafera in the amount of $191,616.25, pending review and approval by the board attorney.
