The North Carolina School Boards Association is once again asking local boards of education to adopt a resolution in support of local control of school calendars. As an additional measure, they recommend asking local boards of commissioners to adopt a similar resolution in support of local calendar flexibility. The proposed resolution is attached for your consideration.
The board may approve or revise the resolution at this time.
